New SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake trailer reveals the supported languages and gives a brief story overview.
Publisher THQ Nordic has released a new trailer showing the languages supported in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. In addition to the original English voice actors providing the in-game dialogue, this latest game video shows that other languages will also have full voice acting.
The Cosmic Shake, the latest video game featuring SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends, was announced in September 2021. This 3D platformer is being developed by Purple Lamp, who developed Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated in 2020. It follows SpongeBob as he travels to various locations with familiar settings. Although there are few details about the game, its publisher, THQ Nordic, recently released a new trailer showing some of the languages available.
Latest Trailer of Season 1 Episode FUN
There is a reference to the Season 1 episode “F.U.N.” in the latest trailer for SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. In the Youtube video, Patrick and SpongeBob talk about blowing bubbles. The scene begins in English but soon repeats in many other languages supported by the game. According to the trailer, they include German, French, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Portuguese, Hindi, and Indonesian.
Furthermore, despite being available in different languages, the voice acting maintains the same energetic charm that makes SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom pals enjoyable. This is because the original voice actors for the characters in those languages are the ones used in the Sponge Bob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake trailers.
Players were also given a glimpse of what appeared to be the opening cutscene for SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake’s latest trailer. This clip began with SpongeBob and Patrick, his best friend, blowing bubbles. Unfortunately, the two did not realize until too late that King Neptune owned the bubble soap they were using. Bikini Bottom was again drowned in chaos when a rift opened up, sucking up everything in the area.
While this latest trailer provided a glimpse at languages, it did not provide a release date. However, fans will have to wait longer to learn when the game will come out. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is due for release in 2023, including the release date is likely to be revealed in the coming months.
