Refund your Valorant Purchases (Can’s and Cant’s)

So you have purchased something in Valorant and now you think that you have made a wrong decision and you want the money back. Let us walk you through the guide from where you will learn in what conditions you can get a refund and what things you can get Valorant refunds on. This guide is updated on January 23, 2022. So, if you are watching it after the policy change, you will see the updated date of that changed policy.

Let’s begin with what you can and what you can’t get a refund on and on what conditions apply to the refunds on the items that you are getting a refund on.

Valiant Refunds’ Payment Methods

Your payment method that you used to buy the items means a lot in this case so make sure you always use the payment methods that are credible, support refunds, and are compatible with all the devices and servers – needless to say, compatible with Valiant as well.

Valorant will be giving you refunds on the above-listed refundable items once you can ask for one. Your credit card needs to support the refunds and your payment method should be a secure one.

What If I used a Gift Card?

Refunds can’t be done on the Gift Cards. If you have made purchases via Gift Cards, you will not be getting any refunds, even if you have the refundable items. Although, valiant is generous enough to compensate you with the game currency and you can keep that to purchase any other item of your choice, isn’t that sweet?

Third-Party App Refunds

If you have used the third-party app for buying your items or any other thing and you want a refund on that, sorry to say, but Riot can’t do that. This is not something that Riot has control over so you can’t submit a ticket to Riot. Although, that does not mean your money is gone. The third-party apps like Apple App Store, Galaxy store, and Google Play Store have their own process to do refunds. For that, you’ll have to get in touch with them and see what your options and chances are to get your refunds.

How to Get Valorant Refunds?

As clearly stated by Riot that you have to go through a process of submitting a ticket and then they’ll review and make refunds. Although, you can also get the refunds for the items that are refundable by clicking “refund” button near the item that you just bought. These are the two ways of getting your refunds from Valorant in-game purchases.

Another thing you need to keep in mind is that you can only do a refund in 14 days of the purchase. If you are late and you can’t submit a ticket to Valorant, your refund can’t be possible and you will own whatever that is that you bought. So make sure you test out whatever you have purchased and decide if you want to keep it before 14th day after the purchase.

Riot Crashes and Valorant Refunds

If there is a bug it is Riot’s fault that some bug has made you lose all your purchases or a bug has done something wrong to your account – whatever is wrong with your account, if that is because of Riot, it will compensate you with the refunds and all the other players that have been affected by the bug.

There are separate policies for these returns but all you need to know right now is that it won’t be your head ache and Riot will handle it.
